ABOUT AUTHOR AND ARTWORK

Born in 1992 in Zagreb. From an early age, Talita showed a talent for art, so she enrolled in the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb - majoring in graphic design. Although her life path separated her from art for a short time, the desire for creative expression of emotions was stronger, so the brush and graphite pencil returned to her hands very quickly. “I can't live without my exclusive, private world where I transfer my troubles, happiness, ideas and feelings to a blank piece of paper”. Talita uses different techniques: painting and drawing with acrylic, charcoal and graphite pencil on paper or on canvas. She also tried her hand at sculpting, and the resulting works are currently only part of her personal collection. She likes the art and artists from the period of surrealism. She likes Salvador Dali, Luis Roya and Pablo Picasso. She is a fervent activist in Roma communities, especially regarding Roma women. At the end, she is the first young Roma women with two public exhibitions.
