Mrs. Ourania Zisopoulou is a Greek crafter, who as a lover of natural materials, such as tone, wood, leather and clay, has been crafting for over 20 years. She is also experienced with a variety of materials, such as threads and textiles. Since 2021, she has been diving deeper into clay and ceramics. Moreover, she has participated in Artist Residency abroad. She has always had a special interest in mixed techniques, in the incorporation of natural materials into her craft art, and has always kept an open mind while exploring cultures and art. She is also intrigued by Portuguese ‘Azulejo’ tiles and has been diving into this culture of craft and practice, since it corresponds to her own crafting practices, as they are both ornamental forms of art, requiring a specific functional capacity, which is the core of all her crafting explorations.
