Module 5: Selling and Getting Income from Artwork (CIM)

The webinar “Module 5: Selling and Getting Income from Artwork” was organized on October 24, 2022, as part of the series ‘Open Art Studios’ of the Erasmus+ project PALkonnect, in order to test the project’s training curriculum for the empowerment of social inclusion groups through creativity and artworks. The Module was presented by the partners from Centro Interculturale Mondinsieme (Italy) and the trainer was Mrs. Alessandra Saviotti.

The aim of the webinar was to present some orientation tools for the fair remuneration of the art workers. In particular, the following topics were addressed, both theoretically and practically: gaining experience in using tools for the fair remuneration in the artistic and creative sector; acquiring a general framework on the international recommended models for the minimum remuneration; being aware of the elements to be considered when signing a contract; basic literacy on Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) which operate on the blockchain.
