ABOUT AUTHOR AND ARTWORK

My motive is always subordinated to the feeling. My expression is freed from realism and my creation takes place from the subconscious. I find joy in colors and look for color combinations that meet the light. It is a meeting in figurative and non-figurative. I have energy in me that wants to come out. I paint directly based on my feeling and the image that emerges. The palette is filled with colors. It's as much attack as sensitivity. It is an art to preserve momentary impression and also wait for the painting. My expression is also my body movements, which can be seen in my brushstrokes. Light, contrasts, lines, shapes, temperament and colors intertwine into a picture, in a moment that is all my own. I paint mostly in oil, and have started with acrylic. Education: A lot of self-taught learning and learning in public education, such as Basic training in painting at Basis, 1 year, Folkungagatan. Courses in painting in oil, watercolour, acrylic, vedic art and mixed media as well as courses in ceramics, writing icons, sketching. Current mentor Karin Gissberg – private.
