SOBRE AUTOR/A Y OBRA DE ARTE

My name is Julia Ptak and I am a graphic designer and illustrator from Poland. The project I am presenting is the illustrations for Edgar Allan Poe's story - The Black Cat. I made them during my Erasmus exchange at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. The purpose was to create illustrations fully drawn by hand, without editing on the computer. In the illustrations I wanted to show the dark and mysterious atmosphere characteristic for Edgar Allan Poe's stories.
